Canteatro is an ensemble of professional musical theatre, who have made their duty to lead the classical music to a new public and reacting at the same time to the strongly changing conditions of the German culture market.

We offer club operas, which are classical opera music in modern styles, in a smaller and more unusual instrumentational arrangement than the original.

Our productions are predominantly in German language.

We have an exciting history to tell, with all the emotional force of the music, but fully understandable.

The opera is too beautiful to be reserved to an elite circle. OPERA FOR ALL!
